Step 1/3

Preheat grill to medium-high. Mince garlic. Remove crusts from bread, dice, and mash with evaporated milk in a small bowl. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic. Add bread mixture to beef with fork or hands, gently mixing together. Divide meat into portions and gently form into patties. Using thumb or fingertips, press shallow indentations in centers of patties. Season both sides of patties with salt and pepper, if desired.
